Ironton In Bloom will host the last food fest of the season on Saturday when hot apples over hot biscuits will be featured at the farmers market.

This is the last month for the farmers market that will offer the inaugural Heritage Artisan Festival on Oct. 17. The festival will feature the work of regional craftsmen and a home-built hot rod and chopper show.

On Oct. 24 the Scioto Ridge Boys’ Gospel will be in concert at noon at the market. On Oct. 31 there will be a Halloween dress-up contest with prizes.
