Body found dangling from fence

CHILLICOTHE (AP) — Police in a southern Ohio city say they’ve made an arrest in connection with the death of a woman who was found dangling from a chain-link fence.

Donnie Cochenour Jr. has been charged with murder in the death of the woman whose body was found Tuesday morning in Chillicothe. Police have not released the name of the woman or how she was killed.

Her body was found in the same city where police have been investigating a string of suspicious deaths and disappearances of local women. Police say there’s no evidence to suggest this case is connected.

Cochenour is currently being held without bond. He’s scheduled to make his initial court appearance Wednesday. It’s unclear if he has an attorney.
