Worker not part of agency

On Oct. 8, 2015, it was published that an individual was arrested, charged, and set for trial related to theft of the elderly.

The person was identified as an employee of A&L Home Care. Although A&L Home Care did employ the individual at the time, she acted on her own flawed morals and absolutely against agency values, policies, and expectations of her character.

It is with regret that such an individual has been associated with our agency. She is no longer employed by us and her fate is in the hands of the authorities. The patient remains in our care and we have assured that her needs have been met.

Our agency does everything possible to assure the character and abilities of the staff that we employ. Each employee undergoes extensive background screening, training, and orientation to ensure that he/she is suitable to provide care to our patients.

Each employee is advised that caring for our patients is the core of our mission to our community and that any conduct that jeopardizes one’s ability to do so or the safety and welfare of our patients will not be tolerated and will be grounds for immediate dismissal.

Over the past 10 years in operation, A&L Home Care has built a reputation of providing high quality, professional care to our patients and has grown to be one of the largest agencies and employers in the area- an honor which we do not take lightly. Be assured, we remain committed to our patients and strive to service our community with a professional, empathetic, and caring manner.
