Paul Stapleton

Feb. 7, 1958 — Oct. 19, 2015

Paul David Stapleton, 57, of Ironton, passed away Monday, Oct. 19, 2015, at UK Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky. Mr. Stapleton was born Feb. 7, 1958, in Ironton, to William Everett Stapleton and the late Mary Ruth Henry Stapleton. Mr. Stapleton worked as a carpenter with Stephens Development and was a member of the Ashland Fraternal Order of Eagles.

In addition to his mother, Mr. Stapleton was preceded in death by two nephews Anthony Shawn Stapleton and Matthew Allen Loodenback. He leaves behind his loving wife of 21 years, Cynthia Ann Blair Stapleton; his father, William Everett Stapleton (Marcella); three stepsons, Randy Church (Renee), of Zanesville, Brian Church, of Tulsa, Oklahoma and T.J. Rice, of Ironton; one brother, Michael Stapleton (Anna), of Flatwoods, Kentucky; two sisters, Sue Jenkins, of Ashland, Kentucky and Vicky Crites (Bob), of Greenup, Kentucky; four grandsons and two granddaughters; along with a host of family and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted 12:30 p.m. Friday at Caniff Funeral Home in Westwood, Kentucky with pastor Jim Pridemore officiating. Burial will follow in Buckeye Cemetery in Haverhill. Charles Williams, Jr.

Charles Wesley Williams, Jr., 17, of Huntington, West Virginia, died Tuesday, Oct. 13, 2015. Funeral service will be conducted 2 p.m. Saturday at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, by pastor Dwayne Shugert. Burial will follow in Rome Cemetery, Proctorville. Willa Brown

Willa Mae Brown, 93, of Huntington, West Virginia, died Saturday, Oct. 17, 2015, at Wayne Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Wayne, West Virginia. Funeral service will be conducted 7 p.m. Friday at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, by pastor Brady K. Lipscomb and pastor Tom Kweder. Visitation will be 6-7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. A graveside service will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Hazelgreen Cemetery, Lawford, West Virginia. Burial will follow. V. Louise Bowen, 85, of Miller, died Tuesday, Oct. 20, 2015, at Heritage Center, Huntington, West Virginia. Eloise G. Bays, 92, of Flatwoods, Kentucky, died on Wednesday, Oct. 21, 2015, at King’s Daughters Medical Center in Ashland.
