RH’s Miller, McCormick run well at state meet

HEBRON — Seth Miller and Brendon McCormick were among the best and they proved they belonged.

The two Rock Hill Redmen cross country runners turned in strong performances at the Division III state meet on Saturday.

Miller — a senior — ran a swift 16:22.5 time and was No. 16 overall in the 156-man field. His average mile time was 5:15.9.

Miller covered the first mile in 4:58.1 time. He has qualified for the state meet in each of the past three seasons.

McCormick — a junior in his second state meet — came across the finish line at No. 32 with a 16:34.2 time. He averaged 5:19.7 per mile and he ran a 5:02.9 time in his first mile.

Maplewood won the team title with 61 points followed by St. Thomas Aquinas with 87.
