Rita Stewart

Rita Fay Stewart was 59 when the Lord came and took her home. She was the daughter of the late James and Georgiana (Norris) Wilds. She was preceded by two brothers Gerald Reed and James N. Wilds, and one sister Patricia Daughtery.

She is survived by her husband of 38 years Danny Stewart; two sons James and Bradley Stewart of Ironton; two sisters Linda Bennett Daly and Rosie (Randy) Depriest; three grandchildren Jimmy, Anthony and Alyssa Stewart; also step sisters Donna Wilds and Anita Schwab; and one step brother Tony Schwab; and many nieces and nephews.

Rita had a very sweet and kind heart. She will be sadly missed by family and friends. Funeral will be noon Thursday at O’Keefe-Baker Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. Thursday until service time. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery.

David Plybon

David Lee Plybon, 77, of Chesapeake, died Saturday, Nov. 14, 2015, at St. Mary’s Medical Center, Huntington. He is survived by his wife, Donna Smoot Plybon. Funeral service will be conducted 1 p.m. Wednesday at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville by the Rev. Bill Flannery. Burial will follow in Rome Cemetery, Proctorville. Proctorville VFW Post 6878 will conduct military graveside rites. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.  Charles E. Worrell

Charles E. “Ghost” Worrell, 57, of Chesapeake, died Monday, Nov. 16, 2015. He was the husband of Belilnda Worrell. Arrangements are pending at Schneider-Griffin Funeral Home.
