PT. PLEASANT, W.Va. — The Chesapeake Lady Panthers used a lot of scorers and scored a lot of points.
Chesapeake put 11 players in the scoring column as they blitzed the Pt. Pleasant Big Blacks 58-28 on Saturday.
Kaylee Curry cored 12 points to lead a balance off for Chesapeake (8-2). Dominque Murphy and Natalee Hall score 9 points each while Jozy Jones added 7.
Jones scored 5 points in the first quarter as Chesapeake took a 15-6 lead.
Bailey Mills and Hall 5 had 5 points each in the second quarter as Chesapeake blew the game wide open at 35-10.
Curry scored 4 points in the third quarter and the lead was 47-17.
Karli Davis scored 3 points to lead the backups in the fourth quarter as Ball emptied his bench.
Campbell scored 16 points — 7 in the fourth quarter — to lead Point Pleasant.
Chesapeake hosts Coal Grove on Monday in an Ohio Valley Conference game.
