Library assistant Jan Gullett, who organizes and hosts events for children and teens at various branches in the library system, said story time event takes place every at 11 a.m. Monday at the library.

“We do have story times at all locations,” she said.

The event featured songs, a few books and crafts for the children, as well as presentations on the felt board by Gullett.

Each week is based around a theme.

Monday’s centered around breakfast and the songs and crafts were based on food.

On Tuesdays, she hosts Toddler Time, which features simpler stories, as well as finger puppet show for ages 18 months to 3 years old.

Events and activities are planned for all ages throughout the year, and can be found on the library’s website.
