Ironton Lady Fighting Tigers’ senior basketball standout Lexie Barrier is on the final McDonald’s All-American list for a possible spot on its all-star game roster.

The Ironton girls’ all-time leading scorer will be honored at 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday in the Conley Sports Center with a nomination certificate presented by local McDonald’s owner Steve Cielec.

Barrier is a two-time All-Ohio selection who has signed with James Madison University. She has 1,416 career points.

The All-Star Game will be played on March 30 at the United Center in Chicago. The girls’ game will be televised by ESPNU at 5:30 p.m. and the boys’ game at 8 p.m. on ESPN.

This is the 15th annual girls’ game and 39th year for the boys.
