The U.S. Marshals Service is searching Lawrence County for an Ashland man they say is wanted on rape charges and should be considered armed and dangerous.

According to a press release from the agency, Brandon Tyler Scites, with a last known address of 4012 Mound St., Ashland, is believed to be in or around Kitts Hill and has had multiple arrests for trafficking narcotics and burglary.

Scites is wanted on charges of second-degree rape, second-degree sodomy, unlawful transaction with a minor and violating parole.
