Victor Crum

Aug. 27, 1946 — Feb. 1, 2016

Victor Crum, 69, of Ashland, Kentucky, passed away Monday, Feb. 1, 2016, at King’s Daughters Medical Center in Ashland, Kentucky. The Ironton native was born Aug. 27, 1946, the son of the late Rex and Ollie Ruth Spears Crum.

Victor was a graduate of Dawson-Bryant High School and was a U.S. Army veteran. He was an employee for the Lucasville Correctional Facility, retiring after 15 years of service and was of the Christian faith.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Curtis Crum.

He is survived by two daughters, Devona Webb, of West Chester, and Bethany Cooper, of Greenup, Kentucky; a brother, Estill Crum, of Auburn, Indiana; three grandchildren; and a special group of people whom he considered family that took great care of him in later years.

Patricia Ash

Patricia Ann Scherer Ash, 91, of Proctorville, died Monday, Feb. 1, 2016, at Sayre Christian Village, Lexington, Kentucky. Funeral service will be conducted 11 a.m. Saturday at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, by pastor Barrett Coffman. Burial will follow in Rome Cemetery, Proctorville,. Goble Caudill

Goble Caudill, 93, of South Point, died Wednesday, Feb. 3, 2016, at St. Mary’s Medical Center, Huntington, West Virginia. Arrangements are pending at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville.

 

Lawrence Abrams

Lawrence Keith “Portergap” Abrams, 68, of Rush, Kentucky, died Tuesday, Feb. 2, 2016, at King’s Daughters Medical Center, Ashland, Kentucky. A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Saturday at the Tracy Brammer-Monroe Funeral Home, Ironton, and visitation will be from noon until the time of the service Saturday at the funeral home. Charles Everette Ferris, 53, of Proctorville, died Wednesday, Feb. 3, 2016, at home. Funeral service will be conducted 2 p.m. Friday at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville.
