Emma Jean Moore

Aug. 11, 1930—Feb. 12, 2016

Emma “Jean” Moore 85, of Russell, Kentucky, completed her earthly journey Friday, Feb. 12, 2016.

Jean was born Aug. 11, 1930, to the late Robert and Evelyn Roach.

Jean is survived by her soul mate, her husband of 66 years, Paul Moore. Also surviving are her two daughters Sandra Stewart, of Carlsbad, California and Cheryl (Brian) DiBartolo, of Belmont, North Carolina; six grandchildren, Heather, Courtney, Ashley, Alessandro, Nicolas, and Emma; four great-grandchildren, Alexa, Athena, Alison and Alba; and a host of many other friends and family.

Jean is preceded by her siblings, Bobbie Grupe’, Richard Roach, Patty Keels and Mike Roach and grandson, Joshua Stewart.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today at Carman Funeral Home in Flatwoods, Kentucky, as well as from 12:30-1:30 p.m. on Tuesday. A procession will follow to Woodland Cemetery in Ironton at 1:30 p.m.
