Campbell scores career high to lead Ohio to win

ATHENS (AP) — Antonio Campbell scored 24 of his career-high 33 points in the first half and Ohio beat Eastern Michigan 86-64 Tuesday night for the Bobcats fourth straight victory.

Campbell was 14-of-20 shooting, including three 3-poiners, and grabbed 11 rebounds in 37 minutes.

Ohio hit a 3-pointer on three straight possessions — from Jordan Dartis and Treg Setty — to take a 77-58 lead with five minutes left.

Dartis finished with 18 points and Setty added 16 for Ohio (17-8, 8-5 Mid-American Conference), which has won seven of its last nine games. Gavin Block had nine assists as the Bobcats dished out 20 assists on 29 made field goals.

The Bobcats went on a 14-3 run over the final five minutes of the first half for a 40-31 lead.

Willie Mangum IV led Eastern Michigan (13-13, 5-8) with 19 points and Tim Bond added 14 points.
