Arrest happened after traffic stop in Scioto County

LUCASVILLE — A South Point man was arrested and charged with drug possession after a traffic stop in Scioto County last week.

According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, Steven Green, 32, was pulled over on U.S. Route 23, two miles south of Lucasville, on Feb. 23, following a marked lanes violation.

After a search of the vehicle, troopers allegedly found marijuana in the cab and heroin and cocaine in the taillight lens of the vehicle, according to Sgt. Joe Baisden, with the highway patrol.

Green was charged with possession of marijuana, a misdemeanor, possession of heroin, a felony and possession of cocaine, a felony, Baisden said.

He was taken to Scioto County Jail and has a cash surety bond of $70,000 from the two felony charges.
