HUNTINGTON, W.Va. — A man was arrested after a chase that led from Chesapeake into Huntington on Tuesday.

David Crace, 58, was arrested and charged with third offence DUI, fleeing in vehicle and malicious or unlawful assault of an officer.

Lawrence County Sheriff Jeff lawless said Tuesday Chesapeake police initiated pursuit of the suspect, and then followed him onto the Robert C. Byrd Bridge into Huntington, where they were joined by Huntington police.

The suspect’s vehicle allegedly crashed into the Chesapeake cruiser. Huntington police arrested him.

No other information was available at press time.
