The section of Third Street between Commerce Drive, near Mi-De-Con, Inc., and Cooke’s Farm Center, is closed to northbound traffic going toward downtown due to a water main break.

The closure detours traffic down Commerce Drive, which exits traffic passed the closed area. Ironton Mayor Katrina Keith said the break is fairly large, and crews will be working throughout the day and most of the evening.
