playoff tickets on sale

Tickets for the Chesapeake boys’ Division III regional tournament title game are on sale for $7 at the high school. Tickets at the door are $8.

The game is 6:15 p.m. on Wednesday at Ohio University’s Convocation Center against Lynchburg-Clay.

The second game has Marion Pleasant facing Sugarcreek Garaway at 8 p.m. The winners meet on Saturday at a time to be determined.

Chesapeake only receives a small percentage of the presale. Fans are urged to purchase tickets in advance.

 

 

 

Benefit softball tourney

scheduled for April 2-3

The Jon A. Robertson Rocket Challenge will be held April 2-3 at the Huntington High baseball field.

The double elimination tournament is a fundraiser for the Robertson Memorial Scholarship.

Home runs are unlimted and teams are to hit their own .44-core 400-pound compression or less.

Fee is $135 and there are limited spots. No modified, shaverd or senior bats will be permitted.
