Three men are now in custody following a drug bust on Thursday by the Lawrence Drug and Major Crimes Task Force.

Andrew J. Holland, 32, of 260 County Road 1, South Point, Stephen E. King Jr., 29, of 116 Freeman Court, South Point and William J. Huskey, 33, of 1107 S. Third St., Ironton, were arrested following a buy bust operation where there were numerous controlled purchases of crystal methamphetamine.

Holland and King were each armed with handguns and Holland’s vehicle had nearly $6,000 in cash and 157 grams of meth, according to a press release from Lawrence County Prosecuting Attorney Brigham Anderson.

The street value of the drug is estimated to be $23,500.

“Holland would send currency to a source out of state who would in return ship the crystal methamphetamine to various locations where Holland would take delivery,” the release states.

The three men are charged with trafficking in meth and will be arraigned in Ironton Municipal Court on Monday.
