Oak Hill hosting youth

Oak Hill High School will host youth basketball tournaments for grades 3-12 at the school on Friday and Saturday, April 29-30, and Sunday, May 30.

Entry fee is $100 and each team will play two pool games with a single elimination tournament on Sunday.

Boys’ brackets are grades 3, 3, 5, 6, 7-8, 9, 10, 11-12.

Girls’ brackets are grades 3-4, 5-6, 7-8, 9, 10, 11-12.

Awards will be given for first and second place teams in each division. Entry deadline is Saturday, April 23.

at Willard on April 2-3

The April Fools Tournament will be held April 2-3 at the new Willard High School.

There will be separate divisions for grades 4-8 with a 3-game guarantee.

Proceeds benefit Willard schools.

Benefit softball tourney

scheduled for April 2-3

The Jon A. Robertson Rocket Challenge will be held April 2-3 at the Huntington High baseball field.

The double elimination tournament is a fundraiser for the Robertson Memorial Scholarship.

Home runs are unlimited and teams are to hit their own .44-core 400-pound compression or less.

Fee is $135 and there are limited spots. No modified, shaved or senior bats will be permitted.
