Bishop to visit Wyngate

ROME TOWNSHIP — A Catholic bishop from the Diocese of Steubenville will pay a visit to the Wyngate at RiversEdge on Saturday.

Bishop Jeffrey Monforton is set to conduct a Mass at the senior living community, located at 7694 County Road 107, at 2:30 p.m., according the activities director Julie Poff.

The event will be open to the public.

The Diocese of Steubenville was founded as a mission diocese in 1944, and was formed from the Diocese of Columbus. It is comprised of 13 counties, along 250 miles of the Ohio River, in mostly Appalachian territory of the state.
