The Ironton Fighting Tigers’ tennis team evened its record at 2-2 with a win over Portsmouth Notre Dame on Friday.
The match was suspended on Wednesday due to rain.
Ironton’s No. 1 singles player Mitchell Weisgarber, No. 2 player Cory Rawlins and No. 3 player Andrew McCown all picked up wins as the Fighting Tigers won the match 3-2.
Ironton’s No. 1 doubles team of Brock Midkiff-Sands and Jaxson Pleasant and No. 2 team of Elena Wilson and Steven Scott were both beaten.
Ironton visits Russell, Ky., on Monday and returns home to play Portsmouth West on Tuesday, Portsmouth Clay on Wednesday and Jackson on Friday.
