The Ironton Fighting Tigers’ tennis team fell to the Russell Red Devils 4-1 on Monday.

No. 2 singles player Cory Rawlins got the lone win for Ironton.

Also playing for Ironton was No. 1 singles player Mitch Weisgarber, No. 3 player Andrew McCown, No. 1 doubles team Brock Midkiff-Sands and Jaxson Pleasant and No. 2 team Elena Wilson and Steven Scott.

Ironton’s second team beat Russell 4-1.

The Tigers got wins from No. 2 singles player Ali White, No. 3 player Elena Wilson, No. 1 doubles team of Weisgarber and Rawlins and No. 2 team of McCown and Pleasant.

Brock Midkiff-Sands played as the No. 1 single.

Ironton hosts Portsmouth Clay at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
