Marie Stamper

March 9, 1931 — April 25, 2016

Marie Evelyn Stamper, 85, of Ironton, passed away Monday, April 25, 2016, in Sanctuary of Ohio Valley in Ironton. Mrs. Stamper was born March 9, 1931, in Waterloo, a daughter to the late Fred and Pansy Stinson Davis.

Mrs. Stamper was a graduate of Waterloo High School. She was a former retail clerk, a homemaker and attended Gateway Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by first husband, Wade Boyd; second husband, Glenn B. Stamper; and two daughters, Brenda Boyd and Glenna Neal.

She is survived by son, Alvin Boyd, of Ashland, Kentucky; daughter, Donna Vanover “Denny” McGlothin, of Ashland, Kentucky; daughter, Paula “Chuck” Miller, of Huntington, West Virginia; son, Mark Alan Stamper; 14 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday at Phillips Funeral Home, Ironton, with pastor Scott Jenkins officiating. Burial will follow in Woodland Cemetery. Annalene Bond

March 31, 1946 — April 25, 2016

Annalene L. Bond, 70, of Ironton, passed away Monday, April 25, 2016, at the Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland, Kentucky. The Sioux Falls, South Dakota native was born March 31, 1946, a daughter of the late Henry L. and Hattie “Birdie” Follows Walk.

Ms. Bond was a graduate of Symmes Valley High School and the Ironton Beauty School. She was a beautician at the Today’s Image/Carousel Beauty Salon for 47 years, retiring in 2012. She attended the Church of God in South Point and was a member of the Moose 701 and the VFW Post 8850.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Andrew Massie.

She is survived by a son, David M. (Jackie) Bond, of Lancaster; a daughter, Shonna R. (Greg) Bond Vincent, of Carson, Virginia; five grandchildren, Alexa Bond Kish, of Zanesville, Ethan Bond, of Lancaster, Candace Massie, of Zanesville, Alyssa Pack, of Virginia and Keira Vincent, of Carson, Virginia; five great-grandchildren; a sister, Patricia Baker, of Patriot; and a brother, Henry “Buddy” Walk, of Ironton.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Thursday at Tracy Brammer Monroe Funeral Home, Ironton, with Paul McNurlin officiating. Burial will follow in Woodland Cemetery and visitation will be Thursday from 11 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
