On behalf of the Ironton Council for the Arts, we would like to thank The Tribune for its coverage of Steve Free’s educational performance at St. Lawrence Elementary School on Tuesday, April 26.

Mr. Free’s performance emphasized the Native American’s culture in our region through stories and music.

While the Ironton Council for the Arts was able to coordinate Mr. Free’s performances in a total of five schools throughout Lawrence County, it was through the financial generosity of The Foundation for the Tri-State Community and Citizen’s Deposit Bank that made these performances possible.

We thank them for their commitment to our students.
