Norma Corn

She was preceded in death by her parents, Leslie and Orpha Rutledge; her sisters Ivis Siple, Rita Wolfe, and Sally Cooke; and her husband, C.E. (“Ed”) Corn, who passed away in February 2001.

She was born and grew up in Ironton, where she and Ed met. They married in South Dakota while he was stationed there during WWII. She devoted herself to making a home and raising a family. She was celebrated in the family for, among other things, her beautiful hand-sewn quilts, her lasagna and her Buckeye candy at Christmastime. Midge is survived by her three sons and their families, Tom and his wife, Judy Corn, of Houston; Ron and his wife, Peggy Corn, of Dublin, their son Patrick, his wife Megan, and their children, Andrew and Margaret; and by their daughter, Allison Beach, her husband, Aaron Beach, and their daughter Kay; and Robert, his wife, Kathy Corn, of Atlanta, and their sons Dustin and Kevin.
