It is that time of the year when parents and grandparents are beginning to think about what the kids are going to do for the next three months.

Most kids love to splash, jump, dive and swim. My fondest family memories throughout the years have been made at Sta-Tan Pool, starting out in the baby pool in 1960 and then going off the diving boards.

I am getting anxious to eat hot dogs (with Pearl’s famous sauce), crispy French fries and crumbly hamburgers.
