South Point High School plans to honor past athletic standouts by establishing an Athletic Hall of Fame.

With more than 90 years of athletic competition, South Point has been represented by many outstanding athletes, coaches and teams.

Eligibility to the Hall of Fame is based primarily on the athletic prowess of the individual and includes considerations of personal integrity, high standards of sportsmanship and good character.

Athletes are eligible beginning 10 years after the class of which they were a member has graduated from South Point High School. Post high school accomplishments are of secondary consideration.

The first class of inductees is slated to be presented in the fall of 2016.

Applications must be postmarked or submitted by August 1, 2016.

Applications may be submitted via mail, dropped off at the high school or emailed to bcoleman@southpoint.k12.oh.us.
