PINE GROVE — So, you wanna golf, eh?

The Ladies Nine Hole Golf Association of the Ironton Country Club is offering more opportunities to golf than just their weekly Tuesday outing.

The Ladies Nine Hole group also has a hand in the Ringer Tournament that is continuing. Also, the Handicap Tournament begins on Tuesday and continues through Tuesday, July 5.

Golfers can add to their opportunities on the links with the Couples’ Night every Friday at 6 p.m. Couples should bring an appetizer and persons do not have to be a member to play with the group.

The Ladies Nine Hole League has a brief business meeting at 9 a.m. each Tuesday followed by golfing at 9:30. Betty Fraley served as hostess last week.

Fraley announced the event winners: Connie Chamberlin, Margaret Donley, Wanda Spears and Fraley.

This week’s hostess’ duties will be handled by Rose Auble.

New members are always welcome. The group meets in the ICC club house.
