Five local players were selected to play in the Southeast District Softball Coaches’ underclassmen all-star game.

Selected for the game from tryouts held on Monday were Ironton first baseman Aley Carmon and outfielder Kenzie Cremeens, St. Joseph third baseman Kelsey Malone, Coal Grove outfielder Lauren Meyer and Symmes Valley outfielder Taylor Webb.

The games will be played June 20-21 at Pickerington Central High School.
