Domestic violence, disrupting public service, felonious assault — A private road off 2500 block County Road 144, South Point, June 25, woman alleged husband grabbed her by the arm, broke her cell phone and tried to ram her with his vehicle and threw a soda bottle at her; negative contact with suspect.

Theft — 20 block Township Road 1356, South Point, June 22, wallet taken from vehicle parked in driveway.

Theft — 60 block Township Road 1356, South Point, June 22, four vehicles in same driveway broken into; $100 in cash and $5 in change taken.

Theft — 100 block Township Road 1357, South Point, June 22, wallet and unknown amount of change taken from vehicle.

Theft — 4900 block County Road 17, Chesapeake, June 22, purse taken from vehicle.

Theft — 10 block Township Road 1356, South Point, June 22, GPS, $5 in change, Maglight and knife taken from vehicle.

Theft — 4600 block County Road 17, South Point, June 22, chainsaw taken from vehicle; chainsaw pawned and suspect named; negative contact with suspect.

Grand theft — 100 block Township Road 1468, Chesapeake, June 22, 35-piece tool set, 200 copper fittings, copper tubing, four automatic copper cutting tools taken from work truck; change, Xbox games taken from other vehicles in same driveway.

Theft, drug paraphernalia, falsification — Lowe’s, South Point, June 24, suspect who allegedly stole from store fled on foot and was detained by a civilian; suspect allegedly in possession of needles and gave false identification; Randy Sturgill, of 58 Heavenly View Lane, Franklin, West Virginia, arrested.

Domestic violence, menacing — 10 block Township Road 1408 S., South Point, June 26, woman alleged her adult son flipped patio furniture during an argument and she feared for her safety; deputy alleged the man threatened to assault him; Matthew Hawthorne, 23, of the same address, arrested.

Theft — 100 block Township Road 1026, South Point, June 25, car taken from driveway.

Domestic violence — A private road off 2500 block County Road 22, Ironton, June 26, woman alleged husband hit her car and tried to strike her and threatened to beat her up during child exchange; Richard Newcomb, 42, of 28 Private Drive 2562, Ironton, arrested.

Burglary — 100 block Township Road 1317, South Point, June 23, two bicycles taken from residence.

Burglary, vandalism — 100 block Township Road 124, Chesapeake, June 23, water lines cut, copper wire and air unit taken from vacant house.

Theft — 1300 block County Road 18, South Point, June 20, laptop, wallet taken from vehicle.

Domestic violence — 200 block Township Road 277, Ironton, woman alleged husband chased her outside of their home and began hitting her.

Theft — 4400 block County Road 17, South Point, June 22, change, cash and prescription medication taken from vehicle.

Burglary — 100 block Township Road 615, South Point, June 25, battery charger taken from residence.

Theft — 4900 block State Route 7, Chesapeake, June 23, gun taken from vehicle.

Burglary — 3100 block County Road 31, Chesapeake, June 26, two guitar amps, bass guitar and camera taken from residence.

Theft — Rich Oil Station, State Route 93, Ironton, June 20, employee allegedly took $200 from register and took Little Debbie cake and Coke without paying; James Grounds, 47, of 276 Township Road 270, Ironton, cited to court.

Theft, criminal trespass — 8300 block County Road 15, Chesapeake, June 21, homeowners allegedly caught man stealing tires from a truck in the driveway; held suspect at gunpoint until deputies arrived; James Cassity, 43, of 425 E. Aberdeen Drive, Holland, arrested.

Domestic violence, intimidation of public servant, resisting arrest, harassment by inmate — A private drive off 100 block of County Road 450, South Point, June 21, woman alleged adult son pushed her TV over and punched her window and broke it; when suspect was transported to jail, he allegedly threatened harm to deputy and deputy’s mother; suspect allegedly tried to spit on deputies; Keith Huntington, 37, of the same address, arrested.

Domestic violence — 100 block Township Road 1055, Proctorville, June 22, woman alleged live-in boyfriend shoved her to the floor and was yelling at her; David Jones, 24, of the same address, arrested.

Breaking and entering — 10 block Township Road 1013/County Road 1, South Point, June 23, male and female suspects allegedly found at site of abandoned house attempted to steal copper wires; Mary Sadler, 34, of 279 County Road 104, Chesapeake, and Joey Carman, 33, of 6028, County Road 15, South Point, arrested.

Trafficking in drugs, carrying concealed weapons — 1100 block County Road 1, South Point, June 23, cocaine and two fires arms found during traffic stop; Alexandra Evans, 20, of 87 Private Road 1038, Ironton, arrested.

Burglary — 7900 block County Road 107 Apt. 2, Proctorville, June 20, change jar taken from residence.

Theft — 100 block Township Road 1105, Proctorville, June 21, catalytic converter taken from wrecked car parked at residence.

Burglary — 2300 block State Route 217, Kitts Hill, June 22, nine firearms taken from residence.

Burglary — 6000 block County Road 2, Proctorville, June 22, home ransacked; unknown items taken.
