FRANKLIN FURNACE — Six local churches in the Franklin Furnace/Ohio Furnace area have teamed up to host Bobcat Blessings for students.

On Aug. 20, the churches will have a back to school party for all the area K-12 students. During the event, the churches will provide children with the supplies they need to allow them to look forward to the new school year. Children must be present to receive supplies.

There will also be inflatables, free food, games and prizes, haircuts, train rides, cotton candy and more. We have named the event Bobcat Blessings – Back to School Bash. Even though the event is named Bobcat Blessing, taking its name from the local school in Franklin Furnace, this event is open to any child in any school district.
