PROCTORVILLE — Hall Funeral Home recently announced Ryan Summers will be a new funeral director and embalmer.
Summers was recently licensed as an Ohio Embalmer and Funeral Director.
“I want to thank my Lord and Savior for allowing me to do a duty to help families in their most difficult times,” Summers said.
Summers has worked with Hall Funeral Home since 2012. He is from Ironton and is the son of Cindy and the late Steve Summers.
He graduated from the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science in 2014 with his bachelor’s degree in mortuary science, where he also was president of his class. Ryan then served his apprenticeship at Hall Funeral Home under Evan Hall.
Ryan looks forward to continue working at Hall Funeral Home and helping Hall Funeral Home serve the families of Tri-State to the best of his ability.
“I would like to thank my mother for all her love and support during this endeavor and being my main supporter in life since the death of my father and being there to help me to obtain my goal of licensure,” Summers said. “Also, I want to thank my girlfriend Lindsay for her unconditional love and support during those long study hours. I also want to thank all the Hall family, Big Ernie, Clorinda, Ernie III, Evan and Ericca, for their tremendous support and dedication to me to help me achieve this goal. Also I wish to thank the staff of Hall Funeral Home for their encouragement along the way.”
