Vivian Cox

Vivian Elaine Cox, born April 16, 1927, 89 and a half years old, passed away on Aug. 23, 2016, in San Diego, California. She had succumbed to heart failure, extreme rheumatoid arthritis, Dercum’s Syndrome and onset of dementia.

She was preceded in death by husband, William H. Price Sr.; and son, William H. Price Jr. For the past seven and a half years, her daughter, Luena, has been her caregiver at their home. She had been born and raised by Terry B. and Glenna M. Cox on Greasy Ridge.

She spoke of family, home and her colorful life with pride and adoration daily. Her laugh, her bright blue eyes, the softness of her crippled hands will always be a word away: “Mom.”

 

 

Ronnie Hamlin

Ronnie D. Hamlin, 58, of South Point, died Thursday, Sept. 1, 2016, in University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. He is survived by his wife, Anease Hamlin. Funeral service will be conducted 6 p.m. Tuesday at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville. Visitation will be from 5-6 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
