REEDSVILLE — The Eastern Eagles use a Jett to fly.

Quarterback Jett Facemyer threw for 271 yards and two touchdowns and ran for 59 yards and two scores as Eastern dealt the Green Bobcats their first loss of the season 40-0 on Friday.

Facemyer was 5-of-10 passing and ran nine times for 59 yards as he accounted for 330 of the Eagles 432 total yards.

Josh Brewer ran 20 times for 139 yards and two scores.

Green (2-1) managed just 41 total net yards. Tyler Darnell ran nine times for 26 yards.

Eastern took a 14-0 first quarter lead on a 2-yard run by Brewer and a 49-yard pass from Facemyer to Corbett Catlett.

Eastern scored 19 points in the second quarter tolead 33-0 at the half.
