SOUTH POINT — The 2016 Buddy Walk is set for 1 p.m. Sunday at South Point High School’s football stadium.

The event, hosted by Collins Career and technical center, aims to promote local awareness of those living with Down’s Syndrome and to raise funds, with a portion going to national programs.

Special activities are planned in addition to the walk and anyone is welcome to participate.
