Program to raise money for Ironton In Bloom

A murder mystery dinner event is set to help fund Ironton in Bloom.

“Music Murder and Mayhem” is scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 19 at the Ro-Na Theater, with a reception beginning at 6 p.m. and dinner from 7-9 p.m.

The interactive program, presented by the troupe Murder and Merriment from Huntington and featuring a performance from fictitious group The Monroe Sisters, will offer attendees a chance to solve a mystery and win a prize.

Tickets are by reservation only and are on sale at Unger’s Shoe Store and Weber’s Florist in Ironton, Cindy Caskey, of Ironton in Bloom, said.

“The proceeds go to pay for our flowers and pits and the maintenance on them,” she said.

She said tickets can also be purchased by calling her at 740-532-3534 Ext.12033 or by contacting any Ironton in Bloom member.

Ironton in Bloom is a nonprofit dedicated to beautification of Ironton through flowers, landscaping, litter pickup and other projects.
