Funeral services have been scheduled for Chesapeake Officer Aaron Christian, who died Tuesday from injuries received in a crash last month.

Services will take place at noon Saturday at Ironton High School, from which Christian, 24, graduated in 2010.

The Rev. Steve Harvey and J.D. Crockrel will officiate. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to noon at the school.

Burial will follow in Woodland Cemetery.

Christian, a full time officer on Chesapeake’s police force and former member of Coal Grove’s force, was injured in a single vehicle crash on Ohio Route 7 on Sept. 18.
