Last day for exhibit on Vietnamese culture
ASHLAND — Today is the final day to see an exhibition of paintings by an Ashland resident focusing on Vietnamese culture.
The Highlands Museum has had 18 works by artist Ngo Tam on display since Oct. 12.
Tam, who was born in Vietnam and has been painting for nearly 50 years, moved to the area in the past year along with his wife, Alice. This is his first show in Ashland.
The oil and acrylic works focus on the cultural differences of his native country and his new home in Ashland.
The exhibit will be on display until the gallery closes at 4 p.m. today.
