Katherine Stuntebeck
Dec. 19, 1941 — Oct. 26, 2016
Katherine Stuntebeck, 74, of Ironton, died on Wednesday, Oct. 26, 2016, in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina.
She was born on Thursday, Dec. 18, 1941, in Ironton, to the late Mrs. Alice Murray Stuntebeck and the late Mr. Vincent Clermont Stuntebeck.
Katherine graduated from St. Lawrence Grade School and St. Joseph High School and attended Ohio University in Athens. Her long career in the publishing industry led to positions in Chicago and Atlanta, ending with her 2013 retirement from Conde Nast in Atlanta.
Katherine will be remembered for her strong faith and her kind and generous nature. She was a voracious reader, a great wit, and loved and admired by her family and many friends. She will be greatly missed.
She is survived by one sister, Susan S. Zwick (Jude), of Aurora, Illinois; two brothers, Vincent Murray Stuntebeck (Mary), of Ironton, and Thomas Stuntebeck (Elise), of Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina; and many nieces, nephews and loving friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Nov. 12 at St. Lawrence O’Toole Church, Ironton. Burial to follow at Woodland Cemetery, Ironton.

Melissa Mae Cochran, 49, of Huntington, died Tuesday, Nov. 1, 2016 at Cabell Huntington Hospital.
Funeral service will be conducted 1 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 8, 2016 at Full Gospel Assembly Church, Huntington. Burial will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery, Huntington. Pauline McGinnis
Pauline “Polly” Butcher McGinnis, 78, of Ironton, died Friday, Nov. 4, 2016, at Cabell Huntington Hospital, Huntington.
A graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday Nov. 8, 2016 at Highland Memorial Gardens, South Point. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday Nov. 7, at Apostolic Life Cathedral Church, Huntington, followed by a service at 7 p.m.

Eugene Patrick
Feb. 20, 1931 – Nov. 3, 1016
Eugene Patrick, 85, of South Point passed away Thursday, Nov. 3, 2016 at King’s Daughters Medical Center in Ashland.
The Lawrence County native was born Feb. 20, 1931, a son of the late Roy and Nola Hutchinson Patrick. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Ruth Webb Patrick, whom he married May 14, 1953.
Mr. Patrick attended South Point Schools and was a U.S. Army Veteran, serving during the Korean War. He was an employee of Allied Chemical for 16 years and retired from Amcast after 26 years of service there. He was also a member of Ice Creek Missionary Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Kenneth Patrick and Gerald Patrick; two brothers-in-law and one sister-in-law.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Jeffery Patrick, of South Point; five brothers, Carl Patrick, Harold Patrick, Bill Patrick, Paul Patrick, all of South Point; and James Patrick, of Portsmouth; two sisters, Audrey Mays and Linda Shute, both of South Point; three grandsons, Brandon Patrick, Brent Patrick, and Bryan Patrick; one great-grandson and one great-granddaughter.
Graveside services will be Monday, Nov. 7, 2016 at 11 a.m. in Woodland Cemetery with the Rev. Roger Pierce officiating. There will be no public visitation and Phillips Funeral Home, 1004 South Seventh Street, Ironton is assisting the family with the arrangements.

Susan Carol Freeman, 62, of Fredericksburg, Virginia, formerly of Lawrence County, Ohio died Wednesday, Nov. 2, 2016 at Inova Fairfax Hospital, Falls Church, Virginia. Private graveside services will be held. Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, is in charge of arrangements.

Teresa Ann Hankins Gee, 51, of Ironton, died Tuesday, Nov. 1, 2016, at a local health care facility.

Estelle Jane Gambill Ward, 83, of Flatwoods, Kentucky, died Thursday, Nov. 3, 2016 at Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland.
