MINFORD — The Christmas Cave is a new, self-guided Christmas light spectacular presented underground in the White Gravel Mines.
The cave features museum-quality displays of biblical scenes, surrounding the historical moments of the birth of Jesus, all depicted in the mysterious passageways of the mines. The town of Bethlehem, caroling in the caverns, three nativity exhibits, the story in the stars, thousands of lights and commemorative items will all be featured at the cave.
Created by Tom and Mindy Martin and Bryan and Lori Davis, along with the board members of the White Gravel Mines Productions, the vision of the Christmas Cave is a collection of museum-style displays that are nestled within the earthy nooks of the mines. With unique illumination, skilled shadowing and a cavern setting providing mild year-round temperatures, guests will experience the story of Christ’s birth fresh and new.
The Christmas Cave is a free attraction open from 4-10 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays through Christmas Eve at 4007 White Gravel McDaniel Road in Minford.
