HUNTINGTON, W. a. — Heritage Farm Museum & Village has been transformed by Christmas spirit for their upcoming December Way Back Weekends. From 5-9 p.m. on Dec. 2,3,9, and 10, visitors can experience a completely lit 19th century pioneer village that includes a living nativity drama, live Christmas entertainment, artisan gift market, bread oven cookies for sale with decorating options, Santa Claus, and more for only $5 all ages (2 and under free).

“We really wanted to make this a magical and safe Christmas experience for the children and adults. We added more kid-friendly activities this year and are always excited for visitors to come experience the hope and renewal of Appalachia through a lens of the past,” Audy Perry, Executive Director of Heritage Farm said.

Each night of the Christmas Village includes special children’s train rides, visits with Santa, and unique crafts for children including an opportunity to write a letter to Santa with kid friendly quill and ink inside the Schoolhouse Museum. Three museums will also be open as well as the Artisan Café, Village Vittles, Rory Lee’s Bread Oven and a s’mores fire to satisfy those holiday cravings.

To attend, tickets are $5 for all ages or purchase an Annual Saturday pass, which will give entry into every Saturday, including Way Back Weekends, valid for one year after purchase date. Individual passes are $30 each, and family passes, which cover two adults and any child under 18 in the home, are $75.
