Jerry Fleming

April 6, 1944 — Dec. 2, 2016

Jerry Randall Fleming, 72, of Ironton, passed away Saturday, Dec. 2, 2016, at St. Mary’s Medical Center, Ironton.  The Ashland, Kentucky, native was born April 6, 1944, a son to the late Russell and Nina (Callahan) Fleming. Mr. Fleming is survived by his beloved wife of 52 years, Sandra (Patrick) Fleming.
Mr. Fleming was a 1962 graduate of Ashland High School. Jerry went on and worked as truck driver at AK Steel. He was of the Baptist faith and a member of Rose Hill Baptist Church in Ashland. He loved his grandchildren, enjoyed being with family, has been involved with horses since his childhood, photography, NASCAR and loved Gospel music.
In addition to his wife, Jerry is survived by a son, Jeff Fleming, of Ashland; a daughter, Christy Fleming Stewart, of Ashland; two sisters, Clara Lee (the Rev. Charles) Stewart, of Ashland, and Bonnie Jenkins, of Ironton; and four grandchildren, Joseph Nance, April Nance, Mary Nance and Liam Fleming, all of Ashland.
In addition to his parents, Jerry was preceded in death by a brother, Jimmy Fleming.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at Tracy Brammer Monroe Funeral Home, Ironton, with pastor Brad Jenkins officiating. Burial will follow in Woodland Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.

Imogene Howell

Imogene “Jean” (Richendollar) Howell, 92, of Ironton, passed away Saturday, Dec. 3, 2016, at Close To Home in Ironton. The Hanging Rock native was born Feb. 15, 1924, a daughter to the late Joseph and Elizabeth (Vorhees) Richendollar. Mrs. Howell was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Charles Howell, who passed away in November 2009.
Mrs. Howell was a 1942 graduate of Hanging Rock High School. Jean was of the Christian faith and a member of Central Christian Church
Jean is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Stephen (Rayette) Kingery, of Scott Depot, West Virginia; two granddaughters, Mrs. Christopher (Tricia) Thompson, of Ironton, and Mrs. Jason (Tiffany) Witt, of Hurricane, West Virginia; a grandson, Brent Roach, of Ironton; four great-grandchildren, Camron Roach, of Ironton, London Brown, of Ironton, and Jenna Witt and Avery Witt, both of Hurricane, West Virginia; an honorary daughter, Joy Coffman; a special friend, Helen Aldridge; two close friends, Rosemary Linkfield and JoAnn Kerns; and several nieces and nephews, Roma Brammer, of South Point, Sue Lunsford, of Ironton, Sheila Heskett, of Mt. Vernon, Jim Richendollar, of Ironton, Dale Richendollar, of Ironton, Gale Richendollar, of Ironton, Ruth Ann McFann, of Fort Myers, Florida, Larry Richendollar, of Florida, James Schweickart, of Ashland, and Lance Brammer, of South Point.
In addition to her parents and husband, Jean was preceded in death by a daughter, Joette Howell Johnson; two sisters, Agnes Hord and Floress Richendollar; and four brothers, Edwin Richendollar, Arthur Richendollar, Larry Richendollar and Homer Richendollar.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at Central Christian Church, Ironton, with pastor Willie Purdee officiating.  Burial will follow at Woodland Cemetery. Visitation will be 11 a.m. until the time of service at the church.
