In the next couple of days, when you head to the mailbox, residents throughout Lawrence County will have an unfamiliar piece of mail. And that will be The Tribune’s special Glad Tidings edition.

This special edition of The Tribune will feature fresh news and sports stories highlighting our community, and provide an additional resource to reach residents throughout Lawrence County.

While residents may not be used to receiving the paper in the mail, this is a special edition that The Tribune has published in the middle of December for the last few years.

The goal of this special Saturday edition is to provide residents throughout the county who are subscribers an extra day of news from your community, and provide our advertising partners the distinctive ability to reach potential customers. If you aren’t a subscriber of The Tribune, this gives those non-subscribers an opportunity to see what their only Lawrence County local daily newspaper offers.

The Glad Tidings edition will be distributed throughout the county via the postal service and over 150 rack and dealer locations in Chesapeake and Proctorville.

Although this special edition of The Tribune may only come once each December, we hope that you enjoy reading the paper Saturday morning while enjoying a warm cup of coffee.
