ROME TOWNSHIP — The Wyngate  at Rivers Edge hosted a breakfast with Santa on Saturday.

The public was invited to the senior living community where they had a chance to start their day with Saint Nick.

This is the second year for the event, one of many the Wyngate hosts throughout the year to bring in the public.

Guests were also treated to a 12-foot candy table, while staff could be seen in colorful Christmas costumes. One of the Wyngate’s independent living residents, Bonnie Draper, dressed as Mrs. Claus and read “Twas the Night Before Christmas” to the children.
