Malinda Reis
Feb. 14, 1932 — Jan. 7, 2017

Malinda Francis Gann Reis, 84, of Pedro, passed away Saturday, Jan. 7, 2017, at the Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland, Kentucky. The Elliot Co. Kentucky native was born Feb. 14, 1932, a daughter of the late Thomas and  Elizabeth Shearer Waddell. She is survived by her husband, Billie Reis.
Mrs. Reis was a 1950 graduate of Green High School and was a telephone operator for Ohio Bell, where she retired in 1982 after 25 years of service. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Ironton.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Joseph Hartwell Gann; a sister, Carolyn Kay Waddell Horn; and a brother, Leroy Alfred Waddell.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by three daughters, Elizabeth (Scott) Sanders, of Columbus, Belinda McMahon, of Marietta, and Victoria Gill, of Chesapeake; three stepdaughters, Darlene Siemienski, of Taylor, Michigan, Jan (Butch) Clark, of Grand Haven, Michigan, and Judy Johnson, of Taylor, Michigan; a sister, Jean (Bill) Roman, of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; a brother, Lowell Waddell, of Florida; 19 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and a special friend, Scott Clutters.
Funeral services will be noon Tuesday at Phillips Funeral Home, Ironton, with pastor Eric Barnes officiating. Burial will follow in Woodland Cemetery and visitation will be 11 a.m. until the time of service on Tuesday. To offer condolences to the family, please visit www.phillipsfuneralhome.net.

Patricia A. Bailey, 89, of Huntington, wife of Raymond Bailey, died Friday, Jan. 6, 2017. Memorial services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at South Point United Methodist Church. Burial will follow at Highland Memorial Gardens. Condolences may be expressed at www.slackandwallace.com.

Anna Hicks
Anna Lee Hicks, 88, of Ironton, died Sunday, Jan. 8, 2017, at Boyd County Nursing and Rehab in Boyd County Ky. Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Golden Oaks Memorial Gardens in Catlettsburg, with Rev. Lloyd L. Bailey officiating.

Henry Niece
Henry “Bennett” Ray Niece, 80, of Raceland, Kentucky, died Friday, Jan. 6, 2017. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. today at Bailey Family Funeral Home in Flatwoods with Pastor Scott Robinson, The Rev.
