Nominate an Unsung Hero

Who are your heroes? Is it a family member, athlete, pastor, member of law enforcement or emergency personnel?
All too often, so many work vigorously each day and make it their mission to help others without seeking, or wanting, any recognition for their efforts. However, we have so many here in Lawrence County who would go farther that anyone could imagine to help others in their community.
If you know someone like this, The Tribune wants to give recognition to and shine a light on those who truly put others before themselves.
Highlighting Lawrence County’s “Unsung Heroes” is a big part of The Tribune’s annual Profile edition that publishes on Sunday, Feb. 26 this year, and acknowledging those in the community who make Lawrence County so special is important.
Nominations can be written or typed, and there is no limit on how many can be nominated by one person. Please submit all nominations to The Tribune by mail, email or dropped of at our office by Friday, Jan. 27 at 5 p.m. Those submitting nominations can remain anonymous when printed, but please include your name, telephone number and city for verification purposes.
Each year, the Profile edition of The Tribune features people and places throughout Lawrence County, and this year’s edition will be no different.
