Floyd Delong Sr.

Floyd Edward Delong Sr., 91, of Englewood, Florida, passed away peacefully, Thursday, Dec. 8, 2016, with his daughter by his side. He was the son of the late Henry and Estel Waugh Delong, of Kitts Hill.
He was pre-deceased by two brothers, Henry and Thomas; and three sisters, Marie Koch, Irene Hyden and Betty Jenkins.
He is survived by his daughter, Cathy (Angelo) Pinto, of Englewood, Florida; and son, Floyd “Eddy” Delong, Jr., of Phoenix, Arizona; two grandchildren, Michael Sean Wallis and Traci (Michael) Davila; one great-grandson, Aiden Michael Davila; and several nieces and nephews.
Per Floyd’s wishes, there will be no services. Inurnment will take place in Kitts Hill, Ohio at a later date.

Eva Powers, 92, of Proctorville, died Sunday, Jan. 15, 2017, at home. Arrangements are pending at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville.

John Adams Jr.

John William Adams, Jr., 70, of South Point, died Saturday, Jan. 14, 2017. He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Hurley Adams.
Friends may call from 4-6 p.m. Thursday at First Southern Baptist Church, South Point. A memorial service will follow at 6 p.m. with pastor Bill Wellman officiating. Glenda L. Vonville, 78, of Ironton, died Saturday, Jan. 14, 2017, at Hospice Care Center in Ashland, Kentucky.
