Angie Delong

Oct. 14, 1973 — Jan. 15, 2017

Angie Marie “Big A” Delong, 43, of Pedro, went home to be with her dad on Sunday, Jan. 15, 2017. She was born Oct. 14, 1973, the daughter of the late Charles Delong and Bonnie Cook Delong of Pedro.
Angie was a graduate of Rock Hill High School and received her Certificate of Completion in Marketing from Collins Career Center. She was a cash office clerk at Walmart for 19 years and enjoyed anything with the kids, especially fishing with Chase. She was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to her mother, Angie is survived by two brothers, George Delong and Donald (Jodi) Delong, both of Pedro; sister, Rita (Carl) Large, of Pedro; two nieces, Chelsea (Caleb) Lewis, of Marysville, and Charity Delong, of Pedro; nephew, Chase Delong, of Pedro; great-nephew, Jeremiah Rhea, of Wheelersburg; and special friends, Connie Robinson and her boys.

Marilyn Moore

Marilyn Kay Moore, 70, of Ironton, passed away Saturday, Jan. 14, 2017, at Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital in Russell, Kentucky. The Ironton native was born Nov. 13, 1946, a daughter of the late Earl and Irene Pierce Mullins.
Mrs. Moore was a 1964 graduate of Rock Hill High School and a former nurses aid for Jo Lin Health Center in Ironton. She was a member of the Ohio Valley Independent Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Sonny Mullins.
She is survived by four children, Paul (Rozan) Moore, Angela LeMaster, Teana Moore, and Bobbi (Bryan Jenkins) Pritchard, all of Ironton; two grandchildren, Ashley Dalton and Ethan Pritchard; two brothers, Michael (Sandy) Mullins and Randy Mullins, all of Ironton; and three sisters, Brenda Sizemore, Patricia (Cliff) Rowe and Pamela Myers, all of Ironton.
Funeral services will be noon Friday at Phillips Funeral Home, Ironton. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery and visitation will be 11 a.m. until the time of the service Friday from at the funeral home. To offer condolences to the family, please visit www.phillipsfuneralhome.net.

Carrie Dunham

Carrie Dunham, 94, of New Boston, went to be with her Lord on Monday, Jan. 6, 2017, at Heartland with her family by her bedside.
Surviving are two sons, Charles (Evelyn) Dunham, Jr. and Gardner (Kelley) Dunham; four daughters, Carla Dunham, Dianne (Roger) Wales, Charlotte (Terry) Jones, of South Pont, and Judy Vanessa (Gary) Fannin.

Eva Powers

Eva Powers, 92, of Proctorville, died Sunday, Jan. 15, 2017, at home.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville.

Edward Friend

Edward “Ed” Friend, 66, of Pedro, died Tuesday, Jan. 17, 2017, at his residence. He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Mayme Cade Friend.
Funeral services will be 3 p.m. Friday at Phillips Funeral Home, Ironton, with pastor Jesse Sizemore officiating.
