Tammy Jo Little
Oct. 13, 1969 — Jan. 9, 2017

Tammy Jo Little, 47, of Ironton, passed away Jan. 9, 2017, in Westside Regional Medical Center, Plantation, Florida.  The Ironton native was born Oct. 13, 1969, a daughter to the late James Robert and Aileen (Mulkey) Little. Tammy Jo attended Ironton High School and was a homemaker. She was a Baptist.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a niece and nephew.
She is survived by three daughters, Chadra (Annette Mannas) Mobley, of Flatwoods, Kentucky, Stephanie (Cory Jones) Mobley, of Sunrise, Florida, and Marsha (Steve Murphy, Jr.), of Ironton; son, Dustin (David Keller) Myers, of Morganton, Virginia; brother, James “Bud” (Malissa) Mulkey, Sr., of Zebulon, North Carolina; sister, Brenda (Gunk) (Jeremy Kidd) Mulkey, of Ironton; biological parents, Newt Mulkey and Yvonne Mulkey Summers, of Ironton; nine grandchildren; three nieces; and three nephews.
Funeral service will be 6 p.m. Saturday at the Tracy Brammer-Monroe Funeral Home, Ironton, with the Rev. Jeff Cremeans officiating. Visitation will be 4 p.m. until time of the service Saturday at the funeral home. Eugene Evans
Feb. 11, 1934 — Jan. 18, 2017

Eugene “Gene” Evans, 82, of Coal Grove, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 18, 2017, at the VA Medical Center in Huntington, West Virginia.  The Garrison, Kentucky native was born Feb. 11, 1934 a son to the late Clyde and Lucy Susan (Murphy) Evans.
He was also preceded in death by his wife, Cora Pauline Evans. He attended Lewis County High Schools. Mr. Evans was a veteran of the U.S. Army, where he served as a medic during the Korean War. He retired in 1995 after 27 years of service as a gas station attendant for Atta Boy Gas Company. He was of the Baptist faith. Eugene was a caring man who loved his country. He was a father of few and a friend of many.
He is survived by two daughters, Peggy Evans, of Englewood, and Sue Ann Evans, of Mississippi; two sons, Ricky Gene Evans, of Coal Grove, and Jerry Dean (Lydia) Evans, of Dayton; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren
Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Sunday at Phillips Funeral Home, Ironton, with the Rev. Mark Fields officiating. Marcus Birchfield
Marcus Dean Birchfield, 39, of Ironton, died Tuesday, Jan. 17, 2017, at St. Mary’s Medical Center, Huntington, West Virginia. Keeping with his wishes, he will be cremated and laid to rest with his grandmother in the Hanging Rock Cemetery.
