Dessert social, community service campaign to commemorate event

RUSSELL — Morning Pointe of Russell will celebrate Morning Pointe Senior Living’s 20th anniversary at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 7. Mayor of Russell, Bill Hopkins, will be in attendance, and a dessert social and refreshments will be served.

The senior living and memory care campus, located at 1000 Addington Drive in Russell, will serve refreshments, offer tours, and announce a year-long community service campaign launch to commemorate the parent company’s milestone. In their goal to contribute to the parent company’s 20,000 hours of community service in 2017, Morning Pointe of Russell challenges volunteers, businesses and organizations to make their mark by matching their hours of service throughout the year.

In Spring 2017, the senior campus will also celebrate the grand opening of The Lantern at Morning Pointe Alzheimer’s Center of Excellence.
